KARACHI (Dunya News) — Fire broke out in a timber warehouse near New Sabzi Mandi area of Karachi. Fire-fighters extinguished the flames after battling with the blaze for 2 hours. According to Fire Brigade officials, the cause of could not be determined as of yet.
According to the details, the blaze started suddenly in the warehouse which engulfed the whole building within minutes. 9 vehicles of the Fire Brigade arrived at the scene.
Goods worth millions of rupees turned to ash in the fire. No loss of lives was reported however.
