Summary Committee was formed under lead of Commissioner Peshawar that will present report within five days
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government formed a special committee on Friday to investigate Charsadda incident. The committee was made in a high level meeting of KP lawmakers and security officials in Peshawar, reported Dunya News.
According to the details, Governor KP Sardar Mehtab Abbasi chaired a high level meeting to discuss the steps to be taken after the brutal massacre of students in Bacha Khan University.
An investigation committee was formed under the lead of Commissioner Peshawar that will present its report within five days. Chief Minister (CM) KP Pervez Khattak, Corps Commander Peshawar Lt. General Hadayat-ur-Rehman, Chief Secretary, Inspector General (IG) police and IG Frontier Corps also attended the meeting.
The senior officials and lawmakers discussed the progress in the investigation of the attack on Bacha Khan University. It was also decided in the meeting that those responsible for security lapse will also be identified and tried according to the law.
