According to details, a rashly driven car in Faisal Town area hit the motorcycle of police constable Abdur Razzaq who was returning home after performing his duties on Sunday. The accident was so severe that Abdur Razzaq died on the spot.
The car driver managed to escape from the scene after the accident. Sources said that 45-year-old Abdur Razzaq was deployed at the Qila Gujar Singh Police Station.
On the other hand, two dacoits who came on a motorcycle entered a general store in Multan Chungi area to commit a robbery. However, the security guard at the general store with the help of residents of the area surrounded the dacoits. The robbers opened fire as a result the security guard was wounded.
The residents managed to capture one dacoit while the other escaped from the scene. The injured security guard was later shifted to a nearby hospital.
