Summary CTD arrested a terror suspect involved in recruiting and collecting funds for Islamic State
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has on Friday arrested a terror suspect involved in recruiting and collecting funds for terrorist organization Islamic State (IS). Rangers also arrested two terrorists in an operation, reported Dunya News.
According to CTD sources, the arrested terrorist Abdul Aziz is linked with outlawed outfit Jandullah’s Haji Khalil group. The suspect used to recruit people for IS and send them to Syria. He also collected funds for the terrorist organization. CTD told that the arrested terrorist was in contact with the terrorists in Karachi and Quetta. CTD has started investigations from Abdul Aziz after arresting him for 30 days.
On the other hand, Rangers arrested two terrorists operating in Organi Town area of Karachi. The arrested terrorists belong to a banned organization. Weapons were also found with the arrested terrorists.
