Summary Federal Investigation Agency arrested 7 top officials of OGDCL over corruption charges
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Friday arrested 7 top officials of Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) over corruption charges, reported Dunya News.
According to sources, FIA acted upon the revelations made by former Petroleum Minister Dr. Asim Hussain regarding Sanjhor Power Plant corruption case and arrested 7 officials of OGDCL. Sources told that the arrested OGDCL officials have been alleged of corruption and nepotism.
The project started under Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) government was completed in November 2015 and is worth Rs. 6.5 billion. 25 million cubic feet gas is being obtained from the plant daily.
