Summary Imran Khan also expressed best wishes for Jahangir Tareen for NA-154 by-election in Lodhran.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has said on Wednesday that despite of recognizing errors in the local body polls Election Commission did not took any action against those responsible.
In a series of tweets, Khan once again severely criticized the ECP.
He urged the people to vote for PTI to bring a change and also to expose Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) rigging that took place in General Elections 2013.
Imp for all our voters to come & cast their vote #BallayPeThappa in Lodhran today to expose the rigging in 2013 GE.

Khan stated that at least 40 misconducts were identified in the General Elections 2013 but no one was held responsible for electoral fraud and mismanagement due to which the polls continue to be controversial.
2/2 JC identified 40 wrongdoings in 2013 GE; Secy ECP admitted LG elecs in Isl, Sindh & Punjab "flawed". So why no action against guilty?

With no one being held accountable & punished for electoral fraud & "administrative lapses", elections continue to be controversial 1/2

He reiterated that fair and transparent elections are not possible unless and until action is not taken against those associated with electoral fraud.
Unless punitive action is taken against those committing electoral fraud across the board, we will never have fair & transparent elections.
