Summary Railways Minister said that PM believes in resolving the problems through dialogue, no deadlock

LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique has on Saturday said that there is no deadlock in Sindh and there are no chances of Governor’s Rule in the province. He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif believes in resolving the problems through dialogue, reported Dunya News.

Talking to media at various events in Lahore, Saad Rafique said that Rangers were deployed in Karachi through a process and this deployment shouldn’t be made a joke. He said that there is no deadlock between the federal and Sindh governments.

Responding to a question about Lodhran by-election, Saad Rafique said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Tareen is a paratrooper and cannot win the election even if he has 10 ‘jets’ on his disposal. He said that PTI’s alliance with Jamaat Islami (JI) in this constituency will give the same result as it did in the local body elections.

Talking about Balochistan government, Railways Minister said that the transfer of power will be complete in Balochistan by the end of December.

Talking on the occasion of Sindh University convocation, Sindh CM said that the rumours of Governor’s Rule in Sindh are baseless and there is no such probability.

Commenting about his own authority, he said that he had none. He said that the captain of the operation has no authority. "Where s the captain then?" questioned Shah. "Everything else is in place", he said.

Qaim Ali Shah told that he met Sindh DG Rangers Major General Bilal Akbar and he was satisfied with the powers given to the Rangers. He added that no changes have been made to the Rangers’ powers in Sindh.
