Summary Memon had been running his ministry from Dubai from past several days

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Wednesday removed prominent leader Sharjeel Memon from his position as provincial minister, a notice in this regard has also been issued.

According to details, Memon has been removed from his portfolios of Works and Services and Archives. He had been running his ministry from Dubai from past several days.

It merits mentioning here that Memon was put on the Exit Control List (ECL) last week over corruption allegations.

The Federal Ministry of Interior has put the names of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders Dr Asim and Sharjeel Memon on the Exit Control List (ECL) upon recommendation of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), barring them from leaving the country, Dunya News reported.

Memon is already outside of Pakistan these days. The sources told that the NAB had written to the Interior Ministry seeking both bar on both PPP leaders from traveling abroad.
