RAIWIND (Dunya News) – At least one person was killed and several others wounded as three bogies of a train en route to Karachi got derailed and fire erupted after collision with a trailer at Bichoki Phattak in Raiwind, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the train collided with a container and a coach near Raiwind resulting in one fatality and several injuries. The rescue officials said that the container and coach also got overturned in the accident after which a large number of people are wounded.
The train was Karachi-bound when the trailer came in the way all of a sudden causing the deadly collision. The rescue teams have reached the scene and sources said the open gate at the time of train’s arrival caused the accident.
