Summary FIA has issued directive to arrest all such officers involved in corrupt practices
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) started its crackdown against corrupt officers of City Development Authority (CDA) as it arrested up to 11 persons on Wednesday. Initially 43 cases have been launched against corrupt personnel, reported Dunya News.
As per instructions from Federal Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar, FIA has launched a series of investigations and jailed many high ranking officers over their involvement in mishandling and construction of slums in the capital. The officers have been accused of their involvement in taking bribes and allowing settlements in H-9 sectors. High ranking officers also include Deputy Director General and many others which have been nominated in the case.
FIA has issued directive to arrest all such officers involved in corrupt practices.
