Summary Irshad Jilani cast votes of other women to ensure her nephew's win in Sindh LB polls.
KHAIRPUR (Dunya News) – Chief Minister of Sindh (CM) Qaim Ali Shah s close relative Irshad Jilani on Saturday has caught red handed for trampling law as she attempted to cast votes of other women to ensure her nephew s win in Sindh local bodies election.
According to sources, Irshad Jilani cast her vote at polling station number 8 in Khairpur where she was also seen forcing other women to vote her nephew who is contesting the elections for counselor’s seat on Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) ticket.
On the other hand, mismanagement also marred the ongoing first phase of local government elections at various polling stations in Punjab and Sindh.
The polling staff once again failed to hold elections without any misconduct despite taking measures.
The performance of electoral employees was seen inefficient as the residents broke the locks of male polling station in Sukkur with bricks. The polling was begun after facing a 20-minute delay.
Moreover, misprinting of ballot papers also added fuel to the fire.
In Lodhran, supporters staged protest outside polling station number 49 against the misprinting of papers whereas UC 231, UC-84 and UC-86 of Lahore also witnessed demonstration over the same cause.
