Summary PTI has candidates contesting on 266 out of 274 union councils
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Towards the end of first phase of election campaign for the local body elections, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has decided to himself participate in the campaign, Dunya News reported.
Khan will address rallies in Faisalabad on October 28 and Lahore on 29 organized by respective party candidates.
To strengthen the candidates’ campaign, Imran Khan will himself join the campaign activities. He will be the face of the campaigns especially in Faisalabad and Lahore as he is set to address the public rally in Faisalabad on October 28 and party candidates’ gathering at Chairman Secretariat in Lahore.
In Lahore, PTI has candidates contesting on 266 out of 274 union councils. Reportedly, Imran Khan has made the decision to lead the campaign after realizing the weakness of some leaders in some areas.
PTI chief will also give instructions to party leaders and officials regarding the necessary conduct on the polling day.
