Summary Rangers officers further claimed to have apprehended a suspect identified as Ashiq Sial.

JAMSHORO (Dunya News) – As many as 40 hawks and rare breed owl were recovered in Jamshoro during a joint operation of Rangers and Forest Ministry personnel today (Wednesday).

According to initial details, a collective raid of Rangers and forest ministry was conducted during which at least 40 hawks and one rare owl were confiscated from a bus en route to Karachi from Larkana. The security personnel stated that the recovered birds were being smuggled to foreign countries.



Rangers officers further claimed to have apprehended a suspect identified as Ashiq Sial who has been shifted to police station for further investigation.

Separately, a rare Himalayan bear was also rescued by Wildlife Department after falling down from a 12000-foot heighted mountain in Muzaffarabad.



According to sources, the bear was three years old whereas the breed of such kind of animal has left only 100 in Azad Kashmir.

Moreover, Wildlife Department has handed over the rescued animals to the zoo authorities for proper care and protection while the authorities have also been directed to launch campaign for the awareness regarding wild animals.
