ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) -- Election Commission withdrew its schedule of local bodies elections on Tuesday. The elections, however, will be held on November 30, reported Dunya News.
Election Commission has withdrawn its schedule for local bodies elections in Islamabad yet again, making it the second time such an incident has occurred. Election Commission says delimitation is in process in Islamabad, which has caused the schedule to be withdrawn.
Due to the new schedule, voter lists have opened and voter registration and their transfer is allowed for the duration. Ban on development schemes has also been removed in Islamabad.
