Summary He alleged the federation doesn't give Khyber Pakhtunkhwa its due share
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday said a revolution can come only with devolution of power to local bodies and not with building flyovers, Dunya News reported.
Addressing a media conference at Chief Minister’s House in Peshawar, PTI chairman said that the federation doesn’t give Khyber Pakhtunkhwa its due share and then blames KP government.
He said PTI succeeded in province’s local body elections despite alliance of all parties. He said Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak is talking with Qaumi Watan Party (QWP).
Imran Khan said that KP government is asking for Railways’ land from the federal government so that the traffic situation can be improved but Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is not giving Railway’s land because of ‘fear’.
PML-N doesn’t want PTI to succeed in KP, he alleged, adding that Ziaullah Afridi will have to respond to the allegations. He said KP’s Accountability Cell is functioning fine.
He said Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari are calling each other corrupt from past thirty years but KP’s Accountability Cell is independent and operated under the Chief Minister.
