Summary CM Punjab said that Punjab badly needs a modern center of blood and bone marrow transplant
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has on Tuesday ordered building of a modern blood and bone marrow transplant center. He said that Punjab badly needs an international standard blood and bone marrow transplant center and ordered to devise and present a detailed plan for the proposed institute, reported Dunya News.
In a high-level meeting chaired by CM Punjab in Lahore, the proposed plan of Institute for Blood Diseases and Bone Marrow Transplantation was examined. Professor Tahir Shamsi of National Institute of Blood Diseased and Bone Marrow Transplantation also briefed the meeting. CM said that this institute will help the patients of bone marrow. He also directed the relevant authorities to present a detailed report in this regard.
