Summary Punjab govt has issued new orders regarding bullet-proof and expensive cars due to high costs

LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Punjab government had on Sunday issued new orders regarding the bullet-proof and expensive cars. The orders have been issued to the government officials, officers and their drivers because of the high costs of repairs for these expensive cars, reported Dunya News.

According to official documents, bullet-proof car will not be allowed to be parked in sunlight. It has also been directed that if the car is being driven at 40kph, then the distance with the next car will be kept at least 5 to 6 meters while applying brakes and 13 to 14 meters when the car is being driven at 50kph. The notification directs the officers and drivers to be extra cautious while driving the cars with the escort and during the journey, the distance with the cars will be double compared to the normal.

The bullet-proof cars, according to this notification, will not be driven at a speed over 90kph under any condition. The car will be used inside the city only and traveling outside the city will be avoided. Run-flat tyres have been fitted into the cars due to which the tyre pressure will be kept PSI 50.

Moreover, according to the notification issued for bullet-proof Toyota, Hilux, Vigo Champ, and Toyota Corolla and Altis 1.6 cars, the oil of the cars will be checked on daily-basis.
