LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday has summoned a reply from Punjab Food Authority (PFA) on September 17 in petition challenging private slaughter houses’ advertisements and offers regarding ritual sacrifices on Eidul Adha.
Petitioner’s counsel said that private slaughter houses are utter unhygienic places and do not fulfill PFA’s requirements. He said that slaughter houses should not be allowed to perform Eid sacrifices.
The side requested the court to ban private slaughter houses.
The LHC has summoned a reply from the PFA in the matter by September 17.
