RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Police and intelligence agencies in Rawalpindi on Wednesday recovered explosive material and detained three suspects while conducting a search operation near Taxila, Dunya News reported.
Police stopped a car near Taxila and confiscated 200 detonators and explosive material from it.
Security forces also arrested alleged suspect Ahsan and his two companions from Taxila and Rawalpindi.
Moreover, investigation is underway from the nab suspects.
On the other hand, at least one worker of banned outfit was apprehended during the raid of Counter-Terrorism Force (CTF) in Lahore.
As per sources, the raid was conducted after the death of outlawed organization’s key commander. According to security personnel, suspect Akbar Mavia was hidden in Ghaziabad area.
