ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Young doctors and paramedical staff have continued protest on second day today (Wednesday) for restoration of Health Risk Allowance boycotting Outdoor Patient Departments (OPDs).

According to details, young doctors of all four hospitals and medics including nurses have staged a sit in outside Nadra Chowk.

The protesters spent the night under the open sky after failed negotiations with the government held yesterday.

The treatment of patients in OPD and emergency wards was badly affected due to the protest as one of the patients Abdul Qayyum in PIMS hospital died on not getting proper medical attention.

The patient was shot a few days before in Commitee Chowk and was admitted in the hospital. The bullet was removed after operation but he was still in critical condition.
