ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Security forces on Saturday discovered thousands of bullets and weapons in large quantity in a major operation in the federal capital. It has been reported that these weapons used to be rented out to the miscreants coming from Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), reported Dunya News.

Rangers, police and intelligence agencies, headed by Assistant commissioner Captain Waqas, raided a shop in Faraash Town area of Islamabad. Unlicensed and illegal weapons were discovered in this raid in large quantity. The weapons included 78 guns, 3000 bullets, 3 knifes and modern binoculars. 3 suspects were also arrested in the raid.

According to sources, these weapons were used by miscreants coming from FATA and other criminals in their activities in Rawalpindi, Islamabad and surroundings on rent. Important revelations are expected in the investigations from the arrested suspects.
