LAHORE (Dunya News) – At least two more witnesses have recanted in the Zain murder case and the hearing has been adjourned until September 10, Dunya News reported.

According to details, Lahore’s Anti-Terrorism court began hearing and two other witnesses were produced to record statements. One of those wounded in the incident, Hassan, said he was fired at but does not remember who did it.

The other witness also said he doesn’t recognize the prime suspect Mustafa Kanju. The prosecutors have also completed cross-examining the witnesses. The hearing has been adjourned until September 10.

A teenager, Zain, was killed after influential Mustafa Kanju resorted to firing after an incident of road rage on April 1.
