GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali on Tuesday visited Gujranwala where demonstrators surrounded his vehicle and protested by throwing electricity bills at him, Dunya News reported.
The Gujranwala Electric Power Company (GEPCO) officials kept dancing to welcome Sher Ali instead of listening to the complaints of the customers.
According to details, Abid Sher Ali reached Gujranwala to inaugurate the Sheranwala Bagh Grid Station and was surrounded by the protesters.
The demonstrators chanted slogans to have their complaints heard but GEPCO officials kept dancing and cheering for the minister.
The State Minister also went back without meeting and listening to the complaints of the demonstrators.
