Summary ATC handed Director Finance Abbasi Shaheed Hospital on 14-day physical remand to Rangers
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Director Finance Abbasi Shaheed Hospital Fareed ud-Din used to get the political opponents murdered with poisonous injection. According to police report, Director Finance of the hospital used to get the political opponents coming to emergency of the hospital murdered instead of providing them with the medical assistance. Anti-Terror Court (ATC) on Tuesday handed the suspect to Rangers on a 14-day physical remand, reported Dunya News.
Rangers had arrested Fareed ud-Din raiding Abbasi Shaheed Hospital 3 months ago. He was presented before an ATC and the Rangers demanded 90-day custody of the suspect for investigation of extortion, murder and assistance of terrorists. The court had given him in Rangers’ custody for 90 days. Law-enforcing agencies had also found large deposits of weapons from Khajji Ground graveyard in Rizviya Police Station premises upon the information provided by Fareed and the case was registered in the Rizviya Police Station. After the completion of 90-day custody, the court gave him into police custody on a 14-day physical remand.
Rangers and other institutions have also prepared an initial investigation report after probing the suspect. The report says that the suspect confessed obtaining employment in the hospital with the help of a fake degree. He also confessed that he used to get the political opponents murdered with the help of poisonous injections in the emergency department of the hospital.
According to the report, Fareed ud-Din also used to blackmail the female doctors and nurses and raped them. He even blackmailed the doctors and nurses by holding their salaries if they didn’t cooperate. Rizviya police will present the suspect before the court again in September.
