Summary Challenging Nawaz Sharif again to contest from NA-122, Khan announces to hold sit-in against ECP

LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has on Saturday announced to hold sit-in outside Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on October 4 if the ECP officials don’t resign before that. He challenged Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif once against to contest against him from NA-122 to see who owns Lahore, reported Dunya News.

Addressing the workers in Lahore, Imran Khan questioned that all political parties said the elections were rigged then what grounds do the ECP officials have to stay in the office. He further said that it took the tribunals 2 years and 3 months to verify 93,000 votes and more fake votes will be found if more constituencies are opened.

Chairman PTI once again alleged that former Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry was also involved in rigging. Challenging Nawaz Sharif to an election in NA-122 once again, Imran Khan said that he won’t run and will take part in the election.

Imran Khan also announced that Aleem Khan will contest NA-122 on PTI ticket while Jahangir Tareen will be contesting from NA-154. He told that Shoaib Siddiqui will be contesting the election from PP-147 from PTI.
