Summary 8 persons have died while more than 50 have been injured during incidents of unprovoked firing

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Indian High Commissioner and his deputy were summoned in Foreign Office on Friday over incidents of unprovoked firing and mortar shelling near Working Boundary, reported Dunya News.

According to spokesperson Foreign Office, Indian High Commissioner TCA Raghwan and Deputy High Commissioner were summoned to protest against Indian security forces’ unprovoked firing and mortar shelling near Working Boundary and Sialkot. Foreign Office also handed over correspondence protesting the aggression from Indian security forces which stated that Indian government should stop its army from violating cease fire agreement.

The text of the letter further stated that if Indian aggression goes unchecked then the matter will be taken to forums of United Nations including that of Security Council.

It is pertinent to mention here that 8 persons have died while more than 50 have been injured during incidents of unprovoked firing by Indian security forces along the Working Boundary.
