ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Friday once gain lashed out at the Election Commission, stating that the ECP s biasness is clear after its decision not to extend contracts of Justice (r) Kazim Malik and Rana Zahid after verdicts against members of the ruling PML-N.

He said that Justice (r) Kazim was only acceptable to ECP when he gave thirty verdicts in favour of Nawaz Sharif’s party.

The statement comes a day after Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Justice (r) Sardar Raza refused to give extensions to tribunal judges in his letter to Lahore High Court (LHC).

The letter requested LHC to set up new tribunals comprising high court judges and all the cases currently being heard by Justice (r) Kazim Ali Malik, Javed Rasheed and Rana Zahid be transferred to high court judges.

The terms of the above mentioned judges are going to end on August 31.

All these three judges had given verdicts against Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leaders. Kazim Malik had given verdict against Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Javed Rasheed had given verdict against Khawaja Saad Rafique while Rana Zahid had declared the results of NA-154 as invalid.

In a separate message on Twitter, Imran Khan welcomed Brahmdagh Bugti’s statement to resolve the issues through talks with the government.
