Summary PTI hasn't yet decided to contest by-elections, all options are still open to us, says Chairman PTI
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has on Thursday said that only a mad man would contest election under the current Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). Imran Khan said that PTI has not yet decided whether it should contest the by-election or not. “All options are open to us. We’ll decide on Saturday whether we should contest the by-elections or not”, said Khan, reported Dunya News.

Talking to Kamran Shahid on Dunya News’ program ‘On the Front’, Imran Khan said that the justice in Pakistan protects the powerful and the corrupt. He said that Secretary General PTI Jahangir Khan Tareen spent Rs. 20 million to get justice. “I had to spend Rs. 2.6 million. How can a common man contest election in such a corrupt system”, said Imran. He said that Justice (r) Kazim Ali Malik has written it in his decision that Chairman NADRA tried to protect Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N). He said that he had nothing personal against Sardar Ayaz Sadiq but wanted to improve the electoral system.

Imran Khan said that PTI hasn’t yet decided to contest the by-elections because there is no point in contesting the election in the presence of the current ECP and police.
Answering a question, Chairman PTI said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif gets himself photographed with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif only because he has no credibility of his own.

"General Raheel Sharif is the most popular person of Pakistan at the moment", Imran said.
Chairman PTI alleged PML-N and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) of being corrupt and declared the Charter of Democracy (COD) as a ‘deal’.
Imran Khan said that he would not object if army and Rangers act in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KP) and arrest anyone over corruption. “I won’t object because I would know that I wasn’t behind that corruption”, he said.

When asked about how should the Indian PM Narendra Modi be dealt, Imran said that Nawaz Sharif negotiated with Modi in a manner in which a subordinate talks to his master. He said that there is no point in talks with India if Kashmir is not on the agenda.

Chairman PTI said that business interests of the PM are being given priority over Pakistan s national interest. Money is like God to them, they re ready to do anything for money, he said.
Talking about Reham Khan s active participation in PTI s politics, Imran Khan said that it wasn t Reham Khan who wanted to run Raja Aamir Zaman s campaign in NA-19 Haripur by-election but Raja Aamir Zaman who wanted her to join his campaign. He said that Reham Khan has the right to contest PTI s intra-party election "but I don t think Reham would want to contest in PTI s intra-party elections", he added.
