KARACHI (Dunya News) - Sindh High Court’s (SHC) Chief Justice Faisal Arab has dismissed and forcefully retired ten civil judges including a female judge from their post on charges of corruption and poor performance since July 30.
After taking his oath, Justice Faisal Arab had vowed that corrupt and negligent judges would be sent home.

On July 30, five civil and judicial magistrates were dismissed from their posts on various charges. Civil judge Adam H Sanghar was forcefully retired over alleged corruption and poor performance. Magistrate Samina Aleem was dismissed for remaining absent from duty for six years without intimation. Judge Badruddin Memon was dismissed for corruption, Ali Gul Khaskheli was sacked for poor performance, corruption wjereas Abul Aala Jatoi was dismissed for remaining absent for an year.

Another judge Ismail Memon was removed from post over alleged corruption and negligence.

On August 26, three civil and judicial magistrates including Ghulam Shabir Somroo, Muzaffar Ali Rajpoot and Bano Phalpoto were forcefully retired over corruption and poor performance.
