(Web Desk) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Khan Tareen on Wednesday said that he is very hopeful because he has provided enough evidence in the NA-154 case.

The election tribunal will announce its verdict on Tareen’s on petition today against alleged rigging in NA-154 constituency of Lodhran in 2013 general election.

The PTI candidate had challenged independent candidate Muhammad Siddique Khan Baloch’s victory, who later joined the PML-N.

Talking exclusively to Dunya News, Tareen said the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) in its report has revealed that 20,600 votes are unverified.

“I only lost by 8500 votes,” he said.

When asked about his party’s position if the tribunal gives verdict in his favor, he said: “If the result comes as per our expectation, PTI’s graph will touch the sky.”

To a question regarding his party’s next strategy after announcement of the verdict, Jahangir Tareen said that PTI will demand resignations of all the provincial election commissioner who failed to organise elections in a transparent manner.

He further said that the inquiry commission’s report regarding 2013 general elections will also be ineffective if any irregularity is found in the NA-154 polls.
