Summary Khawaja Asif held meeting with the delegation in the federal capital
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – China on Wednesday has shown interest in constructing as many as eight power projects on River Sindh that will produce at least 35,000 Mega Watt (MW) electricity.
Chinese power company’s delegation held a meeting with Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif in the federal capital. The meeting discussed different power projects having importance for both Pakistan and China.
The foreign delegation showed interest in investments in different hydel projects on River Sindh. However, Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) has been asked to provide relevant data before starting the projects.
Asif has ordered Wapda authorities to provide the information required.
