Summary Wasim Akram has confirmed the accused in custody is indeed the attacker, sources said
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The person who opened fire on Wasim Akram’s car after verbal brawl has been arrested today, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the attacker has been identified as Amir who goes with the alias ‘Gullu Butt’ and works as Security In-charge at a private company.
The police officials have said that the suspect had hid his vehicle after the incident to avoid arrest; however, has still been arrested.
The sources say that Wasim Akram has also identified the attacker from the picture shown to him by the police.
The accused had engaged in a brawl with cricket legend Wasim Akram in an apparent road range incident but soon drew out his gun and opened fire and then fled the scene.
