Summary What's wrong? Why are NAB and FIA so active in Sindh? We have anti-corruption department, says CM

KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah is furious as National Accountability Bureau (NAB) gets active in the province. “What’s wrong? Why are NAB and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) so active in Sindh? We already have an anti-corruption department and it is working properly. Other institutions don’t need to work”, says Qaim Ali Shah, reported Dunya News.

Holding a press conference after chairing a cabinet meeting in Karachi, CM Sindh said that anti-corruption is a provincial subject. He said that the list provided by NAB to Supreme Court of Pakistan has no names listed in it from Sindh. He also seemed enraged by the activities of NAB and FIA.

Shah said that FIA was never so active in the province. “What has changed now to make FIA so active in Sindh?” questioned CM Sindh. He said that Sindh government is facing a media trial on corruption while only one case has been submitted before the court by NAB in Sindh.
