KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Key suspects involved in corruption worth millions of rupees in Karachi Fishermen Cooperative Society have on Monday been exposed as Dunya News obtained the video statement of important officials of the cooperative society, reported Dunya News.

According to the official, Chairman Fishermen Cooperative Society Nisar Moraai and Vice Chairman Sultan Qamar Siddiqui received 2.5 to 3 million rupees daily in extortion. The video obtained by Dunya News shows a society official telling that a percentage of commission was fixed for everything in the society.

“Sultan Moraai and Sultan Qamar Siddiqui received 2.5 to 3 million rupees in extortion daily. Zulfiqar Chief, Gul Munir, Zeeshan and Mannan received payments from 16 markets. 0.8 to 1 million rupees are taken from launch owners to fill in the ice. Rana Shahid, Abu Zar, Umar Jut, Salman Sindhi and Muhammad Khan Chahcharr were the front-men for the Chairman and Vice Chairman”, revealed the official.

The official also revealed that 338 illegal and 89 ghost employees were hired at the society. He told that Nisar Moraai and Sultan Qamar Siddiqui had 57 security guards, 10 advisors and 2 coordinators.
