Summary Arrest order of MQM chief likely to be issued on August 3

KARACHI (Dunya News) – An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Saturday issued non-bailable arrest warrant for Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain after approving case challan against him, Dunya News reported.

According to details, Investigating Officer Naeem presented the case challan registered on complaint of Colonel Tahir from Rangers to the court. MQM chief is the only accused in the challan shown as fugitive under Section 512.

The challan includes Major Sibtain Rizvi, Sub-Inspector Farhan, DSR Zia Arif, DSR Ashraf Shah, Shahzeb Khanzada, Jibran Nayyar, ASI Major Muhammad and Inspector Naeem as witnesses.

The court issued the arrest warrant after approving the challan. The sources said that the court is likely to issue arrest order of Altaf Hussain on August 3.
