LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has on Saturday said that he could have ordered a debate in National Assembly if he would have wanted to settle his scores with Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan. He said that he can get anyone admitted to Aitchison College. “If I wish, I can get anyone admitted to the Aitchison College. I will not die if my grandson doesn’t get admitted there”, he added, reported Dunya News.

Talking to media after inaugurating a tube-well in Samanabad, Ayaz Sadiq said that the government wants Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Jamiat Ulema Islam – Fazl (JUI-F) to withdraw their resolution demanded PTI’s de-seating. “I could have ordered debate on the issue in the National Assembly if I wished to settle scored with Imran Khan. All members of the assembly are equal to me”, he said.

Commenting on the removal of Aitchison College’s principal, Ayaz Sadiq said that he had been dismissed due to financial irregularities. “I am the Speaker of National Assembly. Getting someone admitted to the Aitchison College is not a problem for me”, said the Speaker.

Ayaz Sadiq told that 5 clean drinking water projects have been put on a halt and work on them will be restarted after Monsoon.
