Summary CM Balochistan announced to form a new force comprising 1100 personnel for Safe City project

QUETTA (Dunya News) – The Apex Committee presided over by Chief Minister Balochistan Dr Abdul Malik Baloch took place at Chief Minister’s Secretariat in which the CM and Commander Southern Command Nasir Khan Janjua said that the conditions in the province are moving towards betterment and that those who surrender will be provided better life opportunities.

According to details, CM Secretariat said while talking to the session that the government has to give better employment opportunities and financial protection by expanding the sources of trade and agriculture in the province.

He said the murder of a labourer and a teacher weighs very heavily on the state, adding that the negative thoughts about deprivation can be changed by embarking on the road to development and providing basic necessities to the people.

The CM Balochistan said that the law and order situation is improving with mutual contacts between the civil and military institutions. He said the implementation of Gwadar Safe City project will be completed and a force comprising over 1100 personnel will be formed.

Commander Southern Command Nasir Khan Janjua said in the meeting that the fifth ongoing insurgency is reaching its logical end, adding that those previously involved in terrorist activities are now joining the mainstream.

Janjua said that those returning from the mountains need to be embraced so that they can play best role for betterment of the society. He said the governance in the province from the provincial level to the division and district level has improved.

The Commander said that a message of democracy and peace will be sent to the world by celebrating Pakistan’s Independent Day with befitting festivity.

The session of the Apex Committee was attended by Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti, IGFC Major General Sher Afgan among other political and government leaders.
