India should avoid blame game: Foreign Office

Summary Qazi Khalilullah addressed weekly press briefing in Islamabad on Thursday.

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Foreign Office Spokesperson Qazi Khalilullah on Thursday said that Indian allegation against Pakistan before completion of Gurdaspur operation was very ‘unfortunate.’

Addressing weekly press briefing in Islamabad, the FO spokesperson reiterated Pakistan`s condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
He said that India must avoid blame game.

Earlier, Indian union home minister Rajnath Singh alleged that terrorists who attacked Gurdaspur came from Pakistan via Ravi river. 

To a question, Qazi Khalilullah said that Pakistan is ready to facilitate the second round of talks between the Afghan government and Taliban but exact date of meeting is not confirmed.

He said Pakistan remains committed to supporting and facilitating an Afghan led and Afghan owned reconciliation process.

He said peace in Afghanistan is not only in the interest of Afghan people but also the people of Pakistan.
