Summary PTI candidate from NA125 says that he always believed that his party had no proofs against former CJ
LAHORE: (Web Desk, Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader, and revered lawyer, Hamid Khan has on Monday said that he always believed that his party had no evidence against the former Chief Justice (CJ) of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, reported Dunya News.
Talking exclusively on Dunya News program Nuqta-e-Nazar , Hamid Khan said that he never believed his party had any evidence of the former CJ s involvement in the alleged rigging in General Election 2013. He said that the party had no evidence but the CJ had a role to play and that role could have surely been highlighted.
However, Hamid Khan said that the PTI failed to highlight the alleged role played by the former CJ in the alleged rigging. Hamid Khan also said in the interview that it was PTI s failure that it couldn t prove rigging in the election.
"I was kept out of the discussions on rigging proofs. I believe it is PTI s failure that it couldn t prove the rigging allegations before the judicial commission", Hamid Khan told Dunya News.
