Coal power plant case: Chief Justice LHC forms three-member full bench

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Justice Lahore High Court (LHC) Manzoor Ahmed Malik has formed a full bench for the hearing of the case against installation of coal power plant in urban areas, Dunya News reported on Monday.

Single bench of LHC has already issued a stay order on power plant’s installation and proposed a full bench for the case hearing.

Chief Justice LHC formed a three-member full bench which includes Justice Faisal Zaman and Justice Shahid Kareem whereas it is headed by Justice Mamoon-ur-Rasheed.

The full bench will initiate the hearing of the petitions from tomorrow.

More than 15 petitions have challenged the step of installing coal power plants in urban areas.
