KALA BAGH (Dunya News) – Authorities on Monday have issued flood warnings to different areas due to high-level flood in River Sindh.
The authorities concerned have been instructed to have people evacuated from localities on and near river banks. According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), at least 5.5 lac cusecs to 6 lac cusecs water will reach Chashma Barrage at around 1 am on July 28.
The flood will pass through Layyah after at least 72 hours where counter mechanisms are ongoing. Authorities have expressed concern regarding destruction on large scale in Dera Ghazi Khan, Ranjanpur and interior Sindh.
