Summary Qamar Zaman Kaira said demand was completely justified given the failure
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Saturday echoed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and demanded resignation from all four members of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Dunya News reported.
According to details, PPP’s Secretary of Information Qamar Zaman Kaira said that the demand of resignation from ECP members is justified.
Talking exclusively to Dunya News, Kaira said that ECP members should exhibit morality by willingly stepping down. He said the Election Commission completely failed to stop rigging in the general election 2013.
He further said that the Election Commission comprises of four members and Chief Election Commissioner, adding that the whole responsibility of conducting free and fair election was of the commission and therefore the demand of resignation is justified.
