LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday summoned Director Hajj religious affairs on the next hearing of Director Hajj Jeddah’s tenure case, Dunya News reported.

Petitioner’s lawyer Azhar Siddiqui adopted the stance that Director Hajj Jeddah’s Rafay Bashir contract was extended after his tenure completion which is an illegal step as he is accused of corruption therefore; his contract should be cancelled.

The federal government requested the court to provide time for reply.

The judge remarked that the system cannot run while deploying corrupt individuals on higher ranks and summoned Director Hajj religious affairs on the next hearing.
