KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Corps Commander Karachi Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar met on Sunday in which views on the ongoing targeted operation were exchanged, Dunya News reported.
Reportedly, Bilawal Bhutto assured continued support of the Sindh government in the ongoing targeted operation against terrorists and corruption and land mafias.
According to details, General Mukhtar and Bilawal met at Chief Minister House prior to the Apex Committee’s session in which Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah and Director General (DG) Rangers also participated.
The current law and order situation and the ongoing operation were discussed in the meeting.
Bilawal said that terrorism has to be rooted out, adding that top PPP leadership have given their lives in the fight against terrorism.
