RAIWIND (Dunya News) – Intelligence agencies and police launched a joint operation in Raiwind near Lahore on late Sunday night and arrested at least 35 suspects.
At least 14 foreigners were among the arrested persons in which eight were Afghans and six belong to Kyrgyzstan, while five were from south Punjab, five from Karachi and 11 from FATA.
Police sources state that terrorist’s guide Shakeel entered Lahore from Dera Ismail Khan on June 25 and is residing in Raiwind.
A 13-year-old suicide bomber including many other suspicious people also accompanies Shakeel and can conduct any terrorist activity in the metropolis.
In context of this entire situation a joint search operation was carried out by police and intelligence agencies.
Moreover, the residents have also been barred from coming out of their homes unnecessarily till Sehr.
