KARACHI (Dunya News) – Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) violated the administrator’s directives and turned on the office air-conditioners (ACs), Dunya News reported on Tuesday.
As per details, Karachi administrator barred the authorities from turning on the ACs before 11 am but the orders were not followed by the office management as the staff put on the ACs at 8 am without ensuring presence of maximum employees.
KMC’s gave these instructions in a wake of deaths caused from devastating and scorching heatwave in Karachi that engulfed lives of as many as 1,239 so far.
