ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Pakistan permanent envoy to the United Nations (UN) Maleeha Lodhi has arrived in Islamabad today (Tuesday) to hold consultations with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the Foreign Ministry officials a day after the government decided to raise voice against Indian actions intended to undermine Pakistan s security in UN, Dunya News reported.

In a meeting held at the Foreign Ministry office on Monday, the authorities decided to raise the issue of India’s anti-Pakistan actions in United Nations. The meeting also discussed the BBC report on MQM’s funding from India and the statements given by MQM leaders to London police.

Allegations of MQM’ funding from Indian intelligence agency RAW have recently surfaced in a BBC report. MQM leader Tariq Mir had confessed that his party workers received financial assistance and training from India to create anarchy in Pakistan.

Sources told Dunya News that evidence of Indian involvement in the terrorist activities taking place in Balochistan has also been gathered.
