Summary Pakistan's permanent envoy in UN Maleeha Lodhi has been summoned to Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Pakistan has on Monday summoned its permanent envoy for the United Nations (UN) Dr. Maleeha Lodhi to Islamabad as decision has been made to raise the issue of Indian interference in Pakistan. Government of Pakistan has decided to raise its voice against Indian actions intended to undermine Pakistan’s security, reported Dunya News.

In a meeting held at the Foreign Ministry office today, government decided to raise the issue of India’s anti-Pakistan actions in both United Nations and the Security Council. Dr. Maleeha Lodhi has also been summoned to Islamabad where she will discuss the things with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the foreign affairs team.

The session also discussed the BBC report on MQM’s funding from India and the statements given by MQM leaders to London police.

Allegations of MQM’ funding from India and its workers being trained there have recently surfaced in a BBC report. MQM leader Tariq Mir had also confessed Indian funding to the MQM in a statement.

The meeting also discussed the terror activities in the country. Sources told Dunya News that evidence of Indian involvement in the terrorist activities taking place in Balochistan has also been gathered.
