Summary It is not the first time that MQM has been accused, said Siraj ul Haq
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief of Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Siraj Ul Haq said on Monday that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) are responsible for Karachi s current situation. He said that key to Karachi’s solution is to rise above political interests, reported Dunya News.
Talking to a press conference in Mansoora, Siraj ul Haq said that extortion and various crimes have decreased due to Rangers operation yet it is only a temporary measure.
Putting blame on PPP and MQM, he said that the parties could not deliver in the metropolitan city.
He urged the masses to make local body elections a ‘day of judgment’ for these political parties.
Siraj ul Haq said that it is not the first time that MQM has been accused in such a manner adding that government should investigate the matter in a free and fair manner.
