Summary PML-N promised to curb load shedding within 6 months, they're in power for 2 years, says Bilawal

KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Co-Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has on Saturday held the federal government responsible for the power crisis. He said that the Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) had promised to end load shedding within 6 months but it’s been 2 years since they are in power and the crisis is still there. He said that the protest will continue, reported Dunya News.

Presiding over a meeting on water and power crisis at Bilawal House, Karachi, Bilawal said that the PML-N government has failed to end the circular debt. He said that 2 years have already gone and the load shedding and circular debt are rising. He said that all this is only because of incompetence, poor governance and corruption.

Bilawal said that the PML-N used to make a lot of hue and cry over the circular debt and the Nandipur Power project. “We now want to know where the government stands now on these two issues”, he said. He said that the protest against the federal government must continue.

Co-Chairman PPP directed the Chief Minister Sindh to improve water supply in Karachi and to prepare for the local body elections.

In his message for PPP President Punjab Manzoor Wattoo, Bilawal said that protests against the load shedding along with opposition parties are praiseworthy. He said that federal government and K-Electric were responsible for hundreds of deaths in Karachi due to heatwave.
